1. Overview
ClearStride Tools ("we", "us", "our") operates BaselineInventory. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: Name, email address, and role — provided by your organisation's administrator when your account is created.
Usage data: Actions you take within the Service (transactions posted, builds created, cycle counts performed) are recorded in audit logs as part of the core service functionality.
Technical data: IP addresses, browser type, and device information collected automatically when you access the Service.
Inventory & operational data: All items, locations, transactions, BOMs, and build records you create are stored on our servers and are owned by your organisation.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service
- To authenticate your identity and enforce access controls
- To maintain audit trails required for compliance and data integrity
- To send service-related notifications (e.g. cycle count approvals, feedback confirmations)
- To diagnose technical issues and monitor system health
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with:
- Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
- Vercel — hosting and deployment
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Sentry — error monitoring (technical error data only, no inventory data)
All sub-processors are bound by data processing agreements and applicable privacy law.
5. Data Retention
Transaction ledger entries and audit trail records are retained for the life of your organisation's account, as these records may be required for compliance purposes. Account data is deleted within 30 days of account termination upon written request.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data in transit (TLS), encrypted data at rest, row-level security in our database, and access controls enforced at both application and database levels. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. Contact your organisation's administrator in the first instance, or reach us directly at privacy@clearstridetools.com.
8. Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify administrators of material changes. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
